'i have an ulcer' haha.. i had a good laugh at that. Very unexpected.
My problem with the story lies in the ending... you choose to tell us that the doctor is, or thinks he is, going to recieve the inhumane treatment he brought to animals for a few days or weeks which severly downplays the fact that he is in purgatory. Maybe consider leaving it a bit open for the reader to decide how long he's going to be there.
