Kidney's don't
If hints were stones,
they’d be dropping fast,
my kidney, doubled over,
skidding on the passing,.
of the gravel underfoot,
but hints aren’t stones
that fall with a drop,
they float, like a feather,
off, in the air,
wafting…never, never, never
