I went back with the tune in mind and it does help a bit, but I still am having trouble here. The problem could be I am no musician and unless the flow is simple, perhaps with more rhyme, I can't imagine it. The chorus worked perfectly, it was just the rest. It may also be the way you have laid it out, shorter lines may help me... these seem long for one breath. But, as I said before, melody aside, these are amazing!
