Re: Dracula And Giselle
Have you told Bram Stoker about this? I bet he would surely be interested! Bram Stokers' Dracula is my favourite book and i must say that every time i'm ready to read another story about Dracula i think that there is nothing more that can be said about him which Stoker haven't already said! Obviously i was wrong! It was a very good idea to write about what happened and Dracula became a vampire. I liked very much your characters and the way you present them throughout the story. The most interesting of them, is not Dracula himself, but satan herself!
Now, i feel i must refer to some aspects concerning Dracula and his vampiric nature, as presented throughout your story. Dracula was a mighty fearless warrior who surely would not sign a pact with the devil so easily! He was considered to be the devil in real life, as noted in Romanian history books and he was cruel but war tactics expert who have worked very hard on the soldiers' psychology during the battle. I'm not so sure that he would be seduced instantly even by the devil! It is more likely to me that he would like to plan his own revenge without following guidelines and he would sign the pact only if he was absolutely certain that there was no other way to survive the grave.
Another thing is that surely a character like Dracula has no romantic nature at all, but this is a matter of how you want to present him so i could not blame you for that!
I think that your story is very good and i'm sure i will enjoy reading what comes next!
