WoW! Like an earlier commenter said, this reminded me of poems from a long time ago when it wasn't politically incorrect to be a little gruesome with kids! Like little red riding hood and the wolf that ate her! Kids, I think would love this poem. Are you published, because you are really, really good. From my first poem, I have this sense that poetry may be more for me than other forms because you can create a poem quickly. Yes, you might have to go back and refine and refine - but it is like a painting that you keep tweaking. I love it and you inspire me!
