Timmay, I have made the amendments to all but those below from Jerh's list. I felt bad about forgetting this after i put it up i thought i ahd come back to it after Word.

I couldn't shoot the gun out, because first, I could miss and destroy the gun, and second, it would cause lots of noise.

The noise makes sense....a sniper worried about missing from 10 feet away doesn't.

I moved slowly through the snow my shoulder would occasionally brush against an evergreen, and I would get a face full of snow for my mistake.

I think you should either start that sentence "As I moved..." or split it into two sentences

Not sure what that means....
