The story is good, although I didn't really understand the beginning and there are too many "big" words that most people won't know of unless they read the dictionary...like I didn't really get the word spasmodically....I think if you want readers to know what you're writing about you should use other words that readers would more likely be able to understand. But hey, this is just my opinion.
