This is a good start. If this were an entire story, it would probably not be enough to justify posting. But since you said "prologue"... Now you are compelled to provide more!

You have some interesting ideas. I'm curious to see where this goes.

I would watch out for "Everyone" or "No one" and then using the pronoun "their". I know it's a pain to say "his or her" or even just "his". But technically "their" isn't correct. If possible, I try to avoid sentences that end up that way whenever I can, just so I can avoid that problem.

Now get in there and give us more!
