Mirror of My Mind
1.
I'm tired of my figure in the mirror.
I cracked so many of them,
But now my reflection is even more queer.
Take my lipstick and draw on a smile,
Drink a half gallon and grin for a while.
Liquor's all gone so I grimace,
So, with a razor I cut a happy face.
Losing consciousness, now I'm numb and floating in space.
People stare but I know they're smiling with me.
Muh face is always bright and happy for all to see.
2.
A friend gave me a new mirror yesterday,
And when I look in it I laugh and go out to play.
Some people are, some just play, and others just act.
I exist, play, and attempt to act with tact.
Pondering on who to be today,
How to think, and what to say.
Something interesting finally happened today,
Death took me away moments ago, and to my joy it brought no one dismay.
