Each month, we come up with a topic for users to write something about. It can be a story, poem or essay. All submissions come here directly.

Topics will run for 2 weeks straight, members to submit their stories (limited to 1000 words) and the winner is decided by member voting. Winners get recognition on main page of StoriesMania.

Like the 1000-word Challenge, The Fifty-Five runs on the same schedule. The purpose of this Challenge is to teach and encourage writers on brevity and word economy.
