- I started writing at a very late date. My early childhood was a bit chaotic and didn't allow for many luxuries - writing would have been considered one. As an adult, family, career, and children consumed their share of commitment. Now, I'm attempting something I've always admired in others. I never tried because I felt no particular talent. But if there is one advantage to older age, it's simply, you have nothing to prove to others, only yourself.
