- I started writing around the age of nine, starting with an amateurish book I titled The Legend of Flaren. After a while, I decided that I needed to make a better copy. Details changed and so did the story very quickly. I repeated this process a few times until I had a copy I was incredibly proud of. My pride turned into sorrow when the tire on our car burst and we went for a rather enjoyable spin into the ditch. After we made sure no one was hurt, we went to work getting the car out of the ditch. At some point the book that I had brought with me (as I had it on my person at all times) must have fell out onto the winter snow. When I discovered it was gone, I was devastated, and didn't write for aproximately 2-3 years, except for class assignments. Since then I have tried a few projects that I thought were good, but that I lost interest in very quickly.
