Good morning, Glory (or afternoon, or evening, as the case may be)! How are things? Hope you're no longer being bugged by the flu and things are rolling along nicely...

Victoria Frances. If you do a Google image search with "safe search" off, you pull up some incredible images. Check Bri's profile; I just sent her a couple of her paintings, and a picture of the artist - who is as drop-dead gorgeous as her paintings. The one you were looking at in my album (I think) is "Kara the She Wolf." Not the official title, but Kara picked out that image for her visualization of what the "Kara" character in "Vorcla's Quest" looked like. We decided Jessica Alba would play the part in a movie. ^_^

Yeah - the weekend before it was 76 degrees! I didn't go out to get the trash cans until mid evening because I'd been down at school doing some prep work for the January term, and there was snow and ice(!) on the inside of the lids. Our daytime high today is going to be 30 degrees. Stay warm, hun.

How are you, Tricia? Did you head the flu off at the pass, or did it get you? Drink lots of fluids and stay warm. We actually had to brush snow off the cars this morning. I had to let Liz out so she could go to work. Think I'll stay by the fireplace til she gets home tonight.

I thought they might have taken you to the Hard Rock Cafe or the Union Station Shopping Mall. It's in the old train station, they're both near the veteran's monument (there's a roundabout that goes around the monument - a big circle in the middle of the block, like Italy). Glad you had fun. Indy's about 90 miles from here. We go down every now and then. They have an awesome zoo!

BOA not so hot, eh? Indy's a nice town, though. Did you go to Hard Rock or Union Station?

Enjoy your band functions, hun. Speaking from experience, there were very few dry eyes (myself included) when the time came. It was a magical four years, and then BAM! Just like that, it was over. We still had concert band for the rest of the year, but that was the end of marching band. I miss it to this day...
