Hey - how's it going? Actually have a little time on my hands - got an emergency sabbatical from school and got three months off from teaching. I'm physically, emotionally, and mentally spent - totally exhausted - and I have an extremely bad case of writer's block. I DID do a rewrite of part 15 of "Dylan Vorcla: First Moon" based on some suggestions from Kara and Tricia, and maybe that'll get me moving again. So I've pretty much been doing nothing and spending quality time with Lizzie when she's not working. What's up with you?

Hey...got some computer time, so I wanted to check in. Still no power - since 2 PM Sunday now. Ice has been unavailable, so all the food in the fridge spoiled. We have hot water and things are normalizing elsewhere, so we're able to go out for hot meals. We're hanging in. We weren't hurt, the house is okay, we're counting our blessings. We fared much better than the people in the Gulf...
