Ah, thanks for putting this in a more proper spot. I hope people have read it. It really is interesting, as interesting as punctuation notes could be i suppose.

it gives some general ideas for the use of punctuations, yet, it doesnt seem to really say much either. when i edit stories, i find that a lot of commas are misplaced or misused - biggest problem with punctuation. but like the writer said, there are no precise rules, and it's hard to nail the problem like that.
