Would it be possible to implement a section in the user profile that would allow each user to list out links to their top picks?

The idea being that the link would display the thread title, and be able to jump directly to the top of that thread. It could be limited to 10, 20, 25, or even 50 picks, which the user would have to manage.

When their list is full, they have to choose what to bump off, or choose not to add another. If the number of entries allowed was kept low, it would produce a real database of the cream of the crop. Good may not hold up as good enough to stay on the list.

Perhaps it could also be tied into a Most Popular Board that would analyze the data, and update itself for the current top 10 on the site.

It also would be nice to have a bookmarking link on the first post of a thread so that tagging picks would be an easier task.

What do you think, Jiron? Too much, or not?

Does anyone out there think that it would be useful, or even used?

The panel members have compiled a gigantic list of poetry. They will work on whittling that gigantic list down, that is not to say that just because your poem was not mentioned in the thread in the old hall, that it wont get in the anthology there is still the member pick(s), and I may add some poems that I liked to add to Lus and VVs work list.

Not sure if this is the correct place for this, but I am unable to get my signature picture to show. I've tried several different ones, all of them under the alotted size, and none of them will show in my signature.

Not a big issue, but I was just wondering if I was doing something wrong? The instructions for inserting one are very easy to follow and would be hard to mess up. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Panel members have been instructed to prowl the forums looking for the best pieces for the anthology. We will get a large number of pieces. Narrow it down, to the best. We will then get permission from the authors we like. And after all that start editing those pieces so they are absolutly perfect.

This is an oppurtunity for every member to decide what goes into the anthology. If you like a piece of another memember, PM the appropriate panel guy. Dont suggest your own stuff, not only do you look like an ass, but no one is going to take your suggestion seriously.

Level three clients.

These are the people paying the most- these papers will be run through a screen of no less than 3 editors, and at least one editor must be available during specified times to discuss the paper in a 'chat' forum. Level three clients will require more attention- so editors must be aware before taking the assignment. (It is reasonable to think that they would make $6-9 a page upon completion though)

Now while the submissions to the site are done by volunteers (I assume), I am wondering whether the editors are also going to be the same editors we have right now and whether they are going to get paid.

Remember that the editors are going to have to be responsible and devote quite a lot of their time to this (if it becomes successful)

Ramdom Story/Poem

I've noticed that sometimes when someone goes and reads a story or a poem and makes a comment in it, then it receives a lot more comments because the topic becomes fresh. Even when I go into the Reading Corner to read something, I mostly just end up reading something from the first page itself, and in most cases, from the first few topics there.

If we have a Random Story/Poem (or we could separate it out to make one link for Random Story and another for Random Poem), then a lot of the stories or poems that haven't had much exposure could get them from someone who's just looking to read something new.

If you give me the go-ahead, I will try searching for a way to implement this on vB
