While out walking with my dog
Something appeared up in the sky
It looked to me at first to be
But then with a keener eye

It looked more like a very small doll
Falling from way up there
How on earth could a dolly
Drop from out of thin air?

It was carrying an umbrella
Which made me wonder why
There wasn't any rain up there
Anywhere in the sky

The doll grew larger and larger
As it fell towards the ground
The brolly began to look more like
A sheet so huge and round

It turned out to be someone
Who had jumped out from a plane
I've forgotton what you call them
What is that word again?

I learned it at school one morning
I wrote it on my spelling list
I've found the word I wanted
Oh yes, it is parachutist!

This was good. Though choppy in a few places and some lines didn't particularly make sense with the stanzas, the innocence is still there. Good job.
