Re: A Joyfull Stroll
When I was first reading this, I didn't note the "genre". As I got down to the butcher and sensed what was coming, I felt "oh this is Dark". But now I see why it could be considered a children's entry.
You may have just contributed to an increase in the number of children who hide away in the house instead of running around outside...

Re: A Joyful Stroll
I also would like to add to that, it seems that no matter where I go and view the children's area, all I see are either half-horrific or poetry and stories that only older children would understand, and that the younger children would all widen their eyes and begin to bawl... you're sick man! Sick!
But in a very interesting way.

Re: A Joyful Stroll
Haha, this was great, I loved it! That poor duck, though... it's a little morbid, I think I'd wait until my kids were at least 5 before reading this to them... Very good, you should write more

Haha...thanks Seamless, I've got a few more in here and yet they get steadily more 'morbid' as they go. Lol.

Re: A Joyful Stroll
It is so quiet at work and I think I just startled myself with laughter right around that fart line. Haha, yes, great addition to the children's section, though may be a bit graphic for the likes of some. Poor duckie, but clever and funny tale... and right, got it, no walking around on a gloomy day by myself
hehe... seriously though, this one shows off your diversity a bit, simple yet funny, with great rhyme and rhythm!
