Re: The Seeker
It seems The Seeker did indeed find what he sought.
The poem was great, well written, and felt a lot like a myth or legend. It was kind of like those little excerpts some authors put at the beginning of chapter: short, catchy, and captures the attention.
There isn't really anything else I could say except that the idea is a bit general. But then again, there isn't really much that isn't a bit general after all these years of man's poem making. Those that can turn something that is generic and stereotypical into a masterpiece are the true geniuses, and The Seeker is almost in that category. Maybe I'm just too critical, but everything can be improved right? If you think about how every reader has different preferences and opinions then that saying is quite true. Still, I am satisfied and I thank you for writing this poem; I thank you even more for allowing others to read it.
