Authors Note: This is a poem by my neice Mia about her cat, Marvin. I helped out a bit and typed it up. I thought it was pretty cute and thought I should put it up.


He looks like black and white
And catches mice
for his beloved wife,

He cuddles me on my bed
And he likes to lie in his basket,
I like to pat Marvin from his tail to his head,

He likes to pur when I scratch his chin,
And it's funny
When he eats grass from the garden,

He eats cat food for his tea,
And get into fights with other cats,
Me and mum had to take to him to the vet
Because he and bloody and scratched,

I love Marvin my cat
Because he's sweet and cute
And he's my pet,

Haha...thanks all. NYU, I dunno about a sense of humour she's only four. Still young. Yes, I thought it was pretty cute and not bad for a first piece of writing.
