Re: Vamps Don't Cry
Hehehe. Thanks for the comments, Tim. I rather like this story. I think it was the beginning of my kinder, gentler horror phase that I'm in now.
I wasn't high by choice, believe me. But it did have its benefits. I wrote a couple of good poems then, too, as I recall. Actually, I don't recall... ![]()

Re: Vamps Don't Cry
Wait a minute! Undead is a paradox unto itself! Undead means the state of being alive. Unlive means the state of being dead right?!? So then aren't undead the same as live people. Or wouldn't they be called unlive since they aren't essentially dead itself but not alive either. Or some English writer really got dislexic when they wrote up the first undead or they don't know English language at all! Just think about it: unreal is fake, unhappy is sad, then undead is alive. Where did we all go wrong! We've been writing about skeletons, ghosts, and vampires as dead people when they've been unlive all along! I say we go back and fix our mistakes or the unlive people may start wanting the rights that certain live people have like the freedom to exist without being attacked if found as a threat to all other living things! We could have a major crisis on our hands just waiting to explode like a nuclear bomb. It could be a matter of months before life as we all know it ceases to exist! We have to hurry to avert this danger before it kills us all!!!!!!
I see, that must have been one killer fever then! I guess drugs can have their uses after all, like for writing. It must have been exciting to see the story and poem for the first time when your head cleared up. Last edited by timtornado3721; 28-08-2008 at 05:51 AM. Reason: To add more stuff |

Re: Vamps Don't Cry
Wow, this was really amazing. It's dark and twisted in just the right ways. I also liked the tonal shift.
I did not notice anything really important that others have not pointed out. Though the girl reminded of a favorite character in a story that I like. Oh and awesome descriptions too. Though for maybe the description of the character perhaps show rather than specifically tell. (It's hard to do ><) But that's the only thing I can think of. But awesome job!
