Re: My Love
This is really interesting to me, the way you merged the two. It works, and it works well. Almost as if you are there working out lost in thoughts of her... The way she is almost there with you. It is an experience I can't exactly explain, the reading of this piece. Almost inspires me to try something similar with a few poems of mine. I loved it, truly!

Re: My Love
Interesting...but
Don't throw your back out! haha Cool story, I didn't know dead lifts could be so interesting. When I do them on my back day, the only art work I can think of is the giant sculpture of food I will create to eat when I get home. Nicely done. |

Re: My Love
Cheers for the responses guys, n V.V. i'm glad you enjoyed it n even more so that you were inspired by it!
The original editor didn't really know what i was talking about, with the gym slang and all which was understandable, and it got me a bit worried about the piece. But looking at your comments looks like anyone can take their own reading from it; and i knew there'd be a gym-bo geezer on this site somewhere that would dig the deadlifts! lol Train hard n harder Fumus, n keep those food sculptures coming! Thanks again

Re: My Love
LH i hope my last comment didn't offend you at all, it wasn't meant to!
I realise that this piece confused you and i was merely stating this this was probably because of the slang i used, and also the "fragmentedness" of it. However, like i said, this was my intent. I;m sure that more people are going to read this and be like, WTF??? Your comments were really helpful and i was glad of your criticism, especially the punctuation. Cheers.
