While many here have made the vaild points- ones i was going to mention myself- there is one thing to keep in mind. fan fic writing is a delicate ballance, there is a certain "Gift" if you want to call it that to writing good fanfics. You have to have the right amount of original story to keep it familar and loved as much as the story was and then mix in enough of your own story line and characters and settings to make it interesting and not just a retelling of the original story. So there is always room for improvement- take these suggestions and try again! You will get better if you keep on writting!
