Mark was having a vision, no, a dream, and a very strange one at that. He was seeing a man roughly the age of 35, standing with quite a few cuts and scars on him. He saw his leg had a strange sort of mark which looked like an ensignia on it just above the ankle and was easily seen since he was barefoot. The image quickly switched to a battle scene between the same man and another figure, one which he could not quite make out. He was losing quite badly. And then to his horror, his mind switched yet again to an image of the Angel, talking to him. "You are Him," it said, "the one. You have been Chosen." His dream frightened him enough to wake.

As he rose he felt cold sweat on his face. He saw to his surprise, his friends were awake, their beds left empty. He quickly got up and dressed, and went down into the living room. He saw his friends sprawled out on the sofa eating breakfast.

"Hey, Mark." said Katie.

"Hey." chimed Brendan and Alyssa.

Mark sat down and ate his breakfast given to him by Brendan; a cinommon roll, orange juice, and two strips of bacon. He was hungry and still a bit shaken, but he still ate it all within his friends finishing theirs. Then it was off to training. He followed them into a room filled with puncing bags, weights, a VR station, punch dummies, and plenty of weapons - swords, daggars, dual-blade swords, and reverse-blade scimitars. Master Po was there, welcoming them.

"Hello there," he said. "And good morning. I hope you are all ready to start training. But before we start, I think Mark needs an explination as to why we are all here today. Why don't you tell him, Brendan?"

"Sure." said Brendan. "Ok. So, you know the Angel? He's this all-powerful 'Im the strongest thing in the universe' guy. So, out of nowhere, he just comes and destroys five, of our neighboring planets and, for some reason, he has decided he wants to spare ours. He says he wants to take control of the only thing that can destroy him. Conceited... Oh, did I say that? Anyway, the four elemental crystals he was after, well, he's already taken them. We have sixty days to get them back, before he does god knows what with them. Master Po says that he made genetic copies, made specifically for combat."

"Combat with what?" Asked Mark.

Brendan continued. "Well, you saw our staffs, right?" Mark nodded. "He designed them with the crystals in mind, to do all this crazy stuff like transform and other things. So, here we are, getting ready to kill anything besides friends, family and those things that move, to save our planet's hide."

Brendan concluded triumphantly.

"O......kaayyyy..." said Mark, slightly confused at his last statement.

"Go on, everyone. Start your training, and I'll teach you more later." said master Po.

"Wait," Mark told him. "I have something to tell you." he said. "What is it?" asked Master Po. "I had this wierd dream last night........"
