Merry the lamb
Lame the winter
Skipping at feet slain for another
Cold and inarticulate stones throw
of ice.
Spring bounds in steps
headed for the fall.

Marry the tame
In summer
Children hopping with the confetti like
Smiles and cherished hopes and vows
of dice.
Honeymoons pass in leaps
Headed for a fall.
