Finally Goodbye
Your eyes adored me
And they never laid my hands on you My eyes clothed you Like a thousand times a day and night I couldn’t keep my mind away So close So close and yet so far Waking me up to see Are the million tiny reasons why I go this way You go yours Till with luck We’ll be I loved you now more than then It took a million people fighting when They took you Away from me Was never meant To be but... You never forgot me I can sleep now that I know your eyes were Always wide open I can with love say a longed goodbye While you try again to dream with me When I Close mine and go to sleep... Finally.

Im probably way off the mark here, but I kept seeing mother torn from baby, and I cant think why...

This one is beautiful. I am lost on the tune but it does not matter, it reads just fine on its own. There is a lonliness about this one, I really like.
