We're just working away
Normally like everyday Doing homework, like usual Not talking, just being casual All of the sudden, it goes black A power outage as you scream "ACK!" I reach around to find you So we can figure out what to do Reaching and grasping, feeling around I feel something soft, I think it's you Lights turn back on, I see where my hand is On your chest, and you're looking at me angrily "Oh shit"

Funny!
The purple coloring not necessary. Your ‘words’ make the point, a few of them. My thought(s)…if Haikus can vary in form and count then why Limericks? But because it’s a Limerick then make each stanza 99669. I want to offer something more than ‘normally,’ but I can’t think the proper vocabulary. Possibly absent minded? Just something that shows one doing something so ‘naturally,’ ‘instinctively,’ without any hesitations. For your originality I rate 3/5!
