No one understands its not in our heads
and its so very hard to get out of bed,
So many pills for the pain to the go away
in our hearts we know the pain will stay,
No one understands how lonely we are
the sofa and t.v. are our friends by far,
We talk to strangers about the pain we feel
sitting and listening not knowing the deal,
They give us advice and send us on our way
we go back to our sofa and sleep it away,
Thinking of ways to get rid of the pain
pills or a knife or a gun in the rain,
Must we live with this pain until we are dead
or will people see its not in our head,
Trying very hard for people to see
hoping one day that you will love me,
The roads we take are so very long
finding a place where we belong,
So next time please extend us your hand
we will try to help you understand.
