drinking mortals’ wine.
Drink only to me and to those surly gods,
think of me amid your textured shards
of breakthroughs and euphoria and composure
and glimmers mid passing, take a sip of my wine
saturated with everlasting.

I get an almost epic feel here, Lu. Gods and Goddesses, temples - the reference to the Equinox summons an image of Stonehenge for me, for some reason. Sweet in some spots, bawdy in others, sensuous in others still. Kind of a cornucopia of sensations and images. I like it a lot. Damned fine...

Bloody hell! I have never seen nor read anything as powerful as this. Well I have, but usually it is Eadha who speaks of ancient gods and goddesses. You have as she conveyed such a poignant epic (in all its parts) that pleases and teases the mind’s eye.

So am I saying in all my rambling…this is GREAT! A hit out of the ball park as the Americans say that leaves the watcher/reader opened mouth in unbelievable awe…

I can imagine it... very powerful piece. very strong feelings I was transported to ancient Greece... Not only was the imagry very vivid but the word play has very sensual undertones. Is our narrator here one who was once among them... or merely one dreamng from afar? But I think I see....she was cast out... yet still yearns to regain her place and her lover. Amazing work here... this is a classic in my book. Great story, great words, and great vision.
