Re: Almost A God
Wow.
Don't know what else to say, Jenn - that pretty well sums it up. I love the persona of your woman/narrator in many of your poems. She's strong, independent, and yet vulnerable all at the same time. Very appealing. Your elemental images of nature, too - the stars, the heavens. A vast man who's almost a god. Just exquisite, hun.

What a shocker, Vorcla and I are the first two to respond...lol
Now pertaining to your poem...AMAZING! (I wish that my vocabulary was more, but at this time it is not.) So with that, I must say your imagery is OUTSTANDING! The execution of emotions, the provocation of sentiments...INCREDIBLE! This is truly one hell of philosophical post! (Though most of your proses are STARTLING-but in a positive manner!) I give this MARVELOUS posting a rating of 5/5! ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Almost A God
I liked the way this was done, the vocabulary you used, it was not over done, captivating words used in simple sentences, which was an extremely nice touch.
