Lame the Lamb

Survivlousness: The fantasy of being the only person in the world.

LAME THE LAMB

Make way for the sharp touches outreached,
Make way for the ever streaming beats,
Hail to the kings of old found jealousy
giving birth to new found creeps,

How should a wish keep me up?
How should a wish keep me down?
I wonder and wonder all day long,
Wonder and wander all night long,

Make way for their shrilly noise,
Make way for the throttle in your voice,
Hail to the kings of survivlousness,
giving birth to new born ashes,

---->Bamboo sticks<----

How should a wish keep me up?
How should a wish keep me down?
I wonder and wonder all day long,
Wonder and wander all night long,

---->More bamboo sticks, please.<----

Re: Lame the Lamb

Hey, Peppy, I've been out for about two weeks. I've been seeing the email notices pouring in with new submissions. I would guess it's been a bit busy around here.

As for you lyrics, I think you've done a fine job. I won't pretend to know the meaning behind the symbolism, but it runs along nicely. It makes for a short tune, since you don't have another verse or refrain in there, but it's good, none the less.

I only have one question:

Is the third word supposed to be "wander", or "wonder"? I can see a greater significance in "wander", but at the same time, it could be a typo. The fact that it is written twice like that could indicate intention, or the copy/paste of a typo. Just curious.

Re: Lame the Lamb

It was intenional. I just like including my "unflowy or weird treat" in the poem or song. Whatever it maybe. Don't know why I do it, I just do it.

Email notices?!? Well, that's new. Anyway, thanks for looking at it. I'll give you a face before you delete this.

Thumbs up Re: Lame the Lamb

I haven’t really commented nor read too many ‘lyrics,’ but that’s not really my point either…

What is position is that this is BRILLIANT!

I APPLAUD the imagery! And I APPLAUD the rhythm! The words were methodically selected I’m sure and well done to its execution.

On a personal note...what's with the gruesome pic of the slashed and mutilated female...it's freaky.

Isn't that from Carrie? A movie about a rejected girl who gets killed, but gets revenge on her classmates during the prom, or something like that?

Not horror fans are youse. Anyway, it's from a movie called Suspiria, she's in the last five minutes of the movie which will creep the hell of anyone who watches. Shivers. It still creeps me out, even though I watched it like ten times.

Thanks for the comments!!!!
