I was one known as an endowed poet,
But my mind has now become entangled,
My writing is suffering, and shows it,
It feels like I'm almost being strangled.

Her white wings flutter in the eastern sun,
Her eyes sparkle like a wave out at sea,
Ugly by many, loved only by one,
But she is just so beautiful to me.

The window to outside helps me little,
My pen gently taps the faded paper,
Such mad frustration makes my mind brittle,
Inspiration snuffed out, dampened taper.

Her walk is to me, such elegent flying,
That wondrous laugh is a delightful song,
Sweetly she waits for me, still shying,
From my request with me she will belong.

My glasses fall from a dozing young face,
Not long do I have to write of something,
One such thing of beauty, of wondrous race,
And then I see the glimpse of a white wing.

I am awed by her, by all that makes her,
She now stands before me, oh how she sings,
An angel in all ways, of this I'm sure,
The girl with a strong soul and bears white wings.

My hand frantically writes, my toils bear fruit!
To my mind, this great stirring madly clings,
I stand, triumphant and just nearly mute,
To write of the girl who does bear white wings.

That was exquisitely done with anice tie in at the end....again the intemittent verses made this more dream like in stark contrast to the real world of ur pen, desk frustration and glases falling off..brillaint! Ur colour choice us usually spot on...very fitting but u know that.beautiful

I agree with Lubesh! I love these dark narration poems. It's not that dark but...I pictured nighttime. Ah, it even says sun. Oh well. Great imagery and emotional description ^_^
