Re: Rain Drops
Ah - hard to find words, Jenn. I've seen some incredible stuff on this site today, and your poem is one of them. I like the "falling" structure with the rain at the beginning, and the metaphor of the rain and human burdens, and how they're similar.
Very nice.

Re: Rain Drops
The hold or hesitate and "release" sensation that you have created by using "and" and "the" to end certain lines is very effective. It makes me nearly hold my breath between those lines. This is the living poetry that breathes with us... coaxing us along its path drawing us into its depths or in this case setting us free from our earthly ties. Brilliant and simply wonderful.

I should be able to give something more, yet at this moment, I cannot...
So until I am verbally able, aceept my highest rating of 5/5!
