Re: When It Rains
I wish some of these things would happen to me when a thunder storm came my way. I just get paranoid. This is a pretty good entry since this area is new to you, the Nature section. You kept your "Rain" elements, the way it sounds, wrapped around a force of nature, I thought it was a good touch. If that wasn't your intention... it's nonetheless a good entry.
Good, good. Quote:

Re: When It Rains
The longer lines are unexpected, coming from you, but I really like the effect. Personally, I'm a huge fan of long-lined poetry, so I was drawn in right away. ^_^ Great images and language throughout, and overall just a very smooth, lyrical piece. Only one thing bugged me:

That being said ^_^ I really enjoyed this piece. Way to branch out and try new things, the result was fantastic.

Re: When It Rains
Oooooohhhhhhhh!
That's all I've got to say. Wonderful work! Calmed this jittery boy down so well I felt like I was lying in a hammock in the woods. As RENA would say, 5/5.

Re: When It Rains
I agree, your vocabulary selection is fresh here, and the piece really has a feeling of unity... like you took an idea and selected the perfect words to tell the story, carry the feeling through. Parts are like the calm drizzle of a storm while others clap like thunder. I am really impressed with this one, and also have to admit am a HUGE fan of any poetry that references nature
