Sunrise
The golden ball of fire rises in the east,
Beginning the new day of nature's glorious feast,
The sun rises on the trees in mid-fall,
Showing their leaves with the most dazzling colors of all.
The leaves are a blazing fire,
Burning bright red to nature's desire,
A shimmering pot of gold,
Shining brightly and daring to be bold.
The sky is light, filled with baby blue,
Lavender, pink, all shades true.
The sun peeks through the naked trees,
While the wind blows its terrifying breeze,
Causing the trees to shiver in fright,
But calmed by the morning sunlight,
While the water ripples and waves to dance,
Mystifying nature in its beautiful trance,
And the mountain wraps around the terrain,
Squeezing it tight and protecting it to remain,
The clouds play games, moving in the sky,
Slowly, not to fall out of it so high,
Until the sun must move again,
We won't know that the sunrise has come to an end.
