Re: Splendour of Night
Haha.. thanks for your comments. It's very much appreciated. Lol. You shouldn't ask me that since I'm not a professional writer but rather someone who loves writing? Ok, to tell the truth.. I can force myself to write a poem if I want and force myself to come up with words that fit.. but most of the time, i try getting inspirations. I'm someone with rather wild imaginations.. always thinking of wacky stuff.. oops, haha.. I guess that's where I got most of my inspirations. Oh ya, I like to observe things and people. So you have to just open yourself up and embrace your surrounding, let yourself indulge in the mood. When the time comes, you got it! I remember a writer once said, to write a good piece "All you have to do is to slit your wrist and let your blood flow over the paper." Of course, please don't really try that. Take it figuratively and you will understand the whole purpose of writing. Good luck and thanks. Lol. This sounds like I'm under some interview huh. Haha. JK.

Re: Splendour of Night
i know ur not a professional but thats something id love to ask everyone here. i love to write and i use it as an emotion expresion. most often then not my peoms have happend or are just an expresion of a feeling thats overwhelming. i asked you though because for some reason when i read your work i just feel the poem so much. when you write of love i feel and remeber passion and happy bliss. and when you not so happy im sad i just feel so i dont know lol i know its stupid. as i have loved to say but this didnt originate from me but the best poetry is born. thats how i like to write the best when for some odd reason i get this spart but its only for a section and if you dont run with it its lost forever. lol those seem to be the poems people like the best that i write anyway. i cant force myself to write lol i throw all those away. it never works out lol i try haha.

Re: Splendour of Night
Yeah once you got an idea, try to jot something down immediately and see how you can develop from there. You can even draw a picture.. lol. Then "picture" yourself in that picture. And that shall be the framework of your poem. For you need to get attached to the poem if you want to write a good piece. Anyway, good luck and thanks for your compliments!
