Ice Storm (Weather War)

An overcast of shadowing clouds,
As the glowing sun takes its bows,
And hides behing the covering dark,
Separating itself from the world apart,
Splashed of water begin to fall,
Eventually pouring, clouds releasing it all,
Sounding like the pounding on a wooden door,
Or rocks crashing through a window and on the floor,
Like people landing on the ceiling,
A war of the weather, fighting and shrieking,
Rain turning to hail, the war getting worse,
All people experiencing the loudness of this terrible curse,
Like bombs going off and pebbles falling down,
Nothing can be seen for miles around,
People hide in fear as the sun fights back,
Trying to reveal itself and end this horrible attack,
As the hail sticks to trees and the rain startes to freeze,
Accompaning the chill of the cold, cool breeze,
Power goes out, light is shut out,
The sun has lost, the world is dark,
The clouds have won, and the ice remains,
Still playing its terrifying game,
The sun attacks harder again,
Feeling as if its shooting itself in the head,
The storm is so tough to beat,
And it doesn't want to feel defeat,
The sun breaks through the black,
Satisfied with its victorious attack,
The storm stops, moving on,
A few minutes pass and the storm is gone.
The sun returns, spreading heat,
Undoing the damage of the storm's mighty feat,
Light returns, all darkness diminished,
And the sun returns back to the sky, all work finished.
