Is this how you felt when you did first view,
accepting it for your own before you knew?
I find it difficult to comment on this. Structurally and physically it's perfect, but as it's honoree I know not what to say. A very lovely painting, Lubesh, and hinting at immortality. A museum quality piece from a true artist. I must return here as the seasons change.

ha...loved the blue bit! But thanks for a generous array of opinion, very kind indeed.

Crap, I didn't want to give such a high rating, but Phonoho was right. It is structured pretty damn well. Curse you for foiling my serious and objective rating ways.
The piece was pretty, though I don't see the meaning behind it. I guess that's because I'm not really digging, just sort of catching a quick read. Well done, regardless.

Excellent work, Lubesh. Just as a curiosity, I wondered what it would sound like if it were condensed a bit, and ended up tinkering with word choice also, though yours was fine. Here is the result:
Quote:
Glistening rainbows thrust colour onto morbid sky
Raindrops shimmer on ocean green and spry
Watercoloured wash appeases saddened hearts
A rich tapestry of blends create nature's finest arts
Blossoms and blooms compete to wear the heady crown
Blood red tulips vie with primrose yellow gowned
Billowing breeze animates lazy fields aglow
Hazy streams of tall grass whisper, mingling in the flow
Surrounding trees frame the scene with protective arms
The balmy sway of boughs ever reaching with their charms
The artist closes his palette and cleans his brushes new
He stares again in wonderment at the beauty of his view
He carries away on wet canvas sounds of life and nature whole
Behind him it goes on the same, revitalising and refreshing...
until the next seeking soul.
Some lines flow more smoothly to my ear, but the changes are so minor I don't know if it's had a positive effect. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know that your fine poem had me thinking.
Best,
~Epsi

I love reading your stuff. The images you create are simply wonderful. This was just full of so many images. It was like nature can refreash a soul... well that is what I got anyways..
