[Laughing Man]

A preacher of an old device
who sermoned all his blatantry
stood atop his many mice
and dangled echoes blistfully

who sashayed along the carpet
holding to a tattered cloak
shrouded by the walking sticks
gazing upon the mangled book

"I hath any sorrow,"
warbled forth with strident praise
"Thou shalt follow--
as latter shadows prayed."

A grave dug by empty pockets
clinging to the broken tools
that built a house in silent land
upon each window sill

in this day were shards of light
grasping at the trees
turned in gale full wind
and tumbled to the steps,
of a house the same in ease

I call back to myself
so hollow I would echoe
as dust mused
upon each parchment strewn
and I forget

the house crumbled
each brick laid time before,
and the sun rose
upon the dishevelled pile

Pretty good job with this one Laughing, not exactly my favorite piece, but well-rounded poetry nonetheless. One little spelling fault that I caught, dishevled should be disheveled. That's all. Good job. Rock and Roll.

wait let me correct my own grammar and spelling mistakes....it was i wasnt keen on the flow, but it didnt really need it to reach it's goal...there thats better...
