Re: Poe's Theory of Evolution
You already know my feelings on this one. Good job.

Re: Poe's Theory of Evolution
I need to read this one a few more times to understand the complete brilliance of it I think, but upon a first read you already blew me away. Again, it makes me wonder why you do not dive into the realm of philosophy, for you walk that thin line between questions that can be answered and all of the "what ifs" of life. Something I am finding more and more, and liking a lot, is your boldness and almost taunting of things, like an "I dare you". It adds a unique touch to your work and makes the reader question as you have. Very well done!

Re: Poe's Theory of Evolution
A gage, in archaic terms, is a challenge, or a pledge of funds, as in a wager or a security deposit. Were you looking for gauge? You've done well with the non-token rhyme. A good example of how rhyme can stand proud without appearing as simply the standard poetic ingredient. I like this one very much.
