That was particularly good ... so vivid that I shuddered.

I like how you used repetition too, though I think the last three lines kind of over do it. It is more emphasized or powerful if you just leave the repetition with :

I cry
I cry out
I cry out loud

Until someone hears me

Nevertheless ... you have my applaud. xxx

Oh good I am glad you pointed out the last lines because I have been toying with dropping them myself, but no one had said anything negative or positive in either direction. *poof* they are gone. I have to say I was pretty angry and disappointed in a lot of things when I wrote this, watching the news is no longer healthy Thank you, I am glad you liked it!

Ok, so I wrote a really long review for this one...and it went walkabout. This is a strong piece of writing, really strong, but I think the biggest problem with some of these pieces is that they project the idea that the narrator is on pedestal. It's not simply and objective piece, but a judgemental. It just seemed to scratch the surface, I dunno, just didn't bode well. Good, just not good as it was.
