This 'mission for peace',
What does it mean?
Why is the meaning not as it seems?
Global security, humanitiarian aid,
Just how much exactly do they get paid?

But how can you make peace through war?
I've heard that stupid phrase before,
It still leaves me confused
As well as bemused,
Isn't that against the law?

I see these fools on the television,
For the future they have a 'better vision',
Bush, Blair- it doesn't matter who,
Lie, lies, lies never are true,
How can people believe this shit?
Haven't they had enough of it?
Look, I'll prove it.

So Mr. President, what do you think you're doing?
'I'm saving the world, and preventing chaos from ensuing!'
What by deposing Saddam and invading Iraq?
'More evil the world soon shall lack!'
But was it worth the thousands who died?
'Of course it was, it's my job to decide!'
Don't get me wrong, Saddam was vicious,
But you saying he had nukes was ficticious?
'Well.....'
And claiming he was connected to 9/11 as well
Was just another of those famous lies you tell,
'Errr...'
And didn't your dad sell him weapons a little while back?
'But....'
Don't try and deny it, it's simply a fact!

You claim this was for the good of the Iraqi nation,
Well they don't agree, they fight your occupation,
They're then deemed as 'rebels' against your rule,
To believe that crap you'd have to be less than a fool!

Who's going to be next then?
'It looks like Iran!'
But what about the genocide going on in Sudan?
When will you give them a helping hand?
'Well gee, I guess when we find oil under their sand!'

I really like this rant one. Almost as much as the first one you wrote. I can just imagine interviewing someone and that happening. But you also know that we are not supposed to be posting things that are a little to political right? Its the rules but sense jir hasnt said anything i guess he feels your ok. sense your 'works' are so great.

there's a big difference between making a clever political statement/ expressing your views and writing a political rant- arts always been the conscience of soceity, so it would be silly to ban ALL things political, just those that seem to be 'rallying voters' or propaganda etc.
