"Hello there. Now the weekly weather outlook for the UK"
Furnace-like heat
hangs over the desert's expanse.
Chilli-red sun whispers
at defiant clouds
"stay away
stay away"
"Unsettled scenario sadly, with low pressure areas feeding in fromThe West"
To The West,
almost kissing Allah's Kingdom
black specks, like scattered iron filings
are visible against an ice-blue hue.
"Bringing much needed rain however for all you gardeners"
Below,
innocence plays.
Two humans,
being.
"This band of heavy rain will sweep across most regions"
Presently,
loadeded crimson-red rain begins
tumbling from the bowels of the sky.
One drop follows another,
shattering the fragility of silence.
Disturbing the desert's parched form.
"With few, if any places escaping the effects of the downpour"
"I'm hurting"
the desert sighs,
as puffs of chalk-like dust clouds
flee their scorched homes
"Thunderstorms are expected too, as the rain moves eastward"
Two humans embrace.
Staring into each other's eyes
they remark no fear
just all their yesterdays.
If only they could step back
Into one of these I think.
But their running years are
Closing their race.
"So take a brolly and wrap up well if you plan to brave the outdoors"
Crimson-red rains pour down now
upon the unprotected,
drenching innocence
before greedy thunder
swallows it whole
pock-marking the desert's complexion.
"Good news however as more high pressure is moving up from the south"
Now,
With shrapnel for ear plugs,
soft sand on which to place head,
and death's blanket of warmth,
slumber's repose is assured to be
uninterrupted, eternal,
as the storm wanes.
"So hopefully, lots more sunshine to come. That's your weather! Good evening"
