Re: I Pledge Allegiance
Nice! I'd salute that sooner than singing along to the traditional anthem.

Re: I Pledge Allegiance
I love it - I have the same opinion, Kat. My elementy school shut down. I was in the last 5th grade class. The goverment isn't treating tomorrow's citizens correctly!

Re: I Pledge Allegiance
Oh yeah. I really don't like what the government is doing right now, especially Bush. He started the whole war w/ Iraq, and I don't get it. I just wish that everything would be peaceful...

Re: I Pledge Allegiance
I believe that there was a saying that went, "Without war, order wouldn't exist."
Anyway, I loved the message that the poem was ringing out, but I didn't like the way the stanzas were set up. It may be that I'm not used to the unbalanced number of sylables in a rhyming poem, but I would suggest that it be put it in the form of the pledge itself to mock this injustice a little more. All in all, this was an excellent poem.

Re: I Pledge Allegiance
It's not so much I hate Bush, it's that I don't like the way he's doing things.

Re: I Pledge Allegiance
Yeah! Geez, he's trying to give himself more power when it's not right! I'm in government right now, and we just studied the Constitution. And I tell you, there is nothing in there that gives him the right to listen in on people's conversations.
Oh, and I was voting for Kerry to win in '04 all along. LONG LIVE KERRY!
