I'll love you in a gentle thought,
one that yawns and stretches
across the distance between us,
uncurls its arms and unfurls its brow,
just to snuggle up next to you.

I'll love you in a silent whisper,
blown by a single kiss
on the waves of good intent,
swirling and twirling the span
that separates you and I,
until it lands upon your cheek,
sweet nothings from me to you.

I'll love you any way I can,
and when time lends his favorable hand,
and he's pointed me in the right direction,
I'll love you in the sweetest hug,
and you'll not need anything more.

This is so sweet and beautiful I hate to comment on it, like I'd somehow taint it by doing that. I don't even want to breathe on it. Gorgeous, hun. Just exquisite.

Awww...this made me think of my kitty when he's being sweet! For some reason, I couldn't get the idea out of my head for the rest of the poem! I liked the notion that this was written from a cat's perspective...although I doubt you intended that.

You have such a novel way of writing poetry, my dear! It is so sensual and sweet, flowing so easily! It's just amazing!

And arent i glad i stubbled into this...well actually i didnt stumble it was more of a... oh man i havent commented of bri's work in a while what the fuck is going on hahaha...

here's what i think, as you know I am in a long long FUCKING long distance relationship, and this first stanza WOW that's how i feel, bit femme but fuck it i dont care.

"I'll love you in a gentle thought,

it was this first stanza that i stopped on and read a few times, how can someone capture that feeling so well...i don't know how you did it but it's great...it's brilliant..

the next stanza was cute i didnt like it as much but i didnt need to because the last stanza POW it was like a sandwich awesome cute awesome a sandwich that i will definitely continue to munch on...

Brilliant work bri, this is fantasmic!
