I shall survive, a Bard,
feed on the quickness of verse,
the edge of canto,
breed on blisters and scrounged meals,
scrounged from the callous’
of but, a bards heels,

I shall scribble down namesake,
and find form in the form,
of the shapeless,
or the form of my own,

Charm girls, from town to town,
with a stanza of opaque,
gilded to shine,
Draw poetry, like paintings,
void of rhythm or rhyme,

rolling hills, rolling oceans
that roll over me,
rolling me out,
till I roll out poetry,

and rocks, and rock stars,
to quaint rocking chairs,
that rock, either boulders
or a drug-hooded stare,

and I’ll walk a lone road,
just my blisters and me,
Surviving, a Bard,
on his pus-filled poetry,

Hehe, you smug bastard This is the attitude I missed out of you, the this is me and I am going to live and do as I please, to hell with everything else. Some great word play, as Lu mentioned, especially in the stanza about the stars and rocks. Another great read!
