Flying Low
A bird sits
She's not singing Songs of joy or bliss Everything around her Have been burned Or broken She is alone in a mess And she's sad to find Nothing is left So she keeps flying Low to the ground Hoping to see A turn around This is her home And she will stay Because this is her life This is her everything And she will give herself So that it can be saved *Don't laugh I know its kind of stupid so tell me what you think ...........*

This is really very sad. Very good subtle imagery there. Feeling of hopelessness. All in all, think you did a wonderful job here HUNNY!

Thankyou for what you said about administrator. I'm just reading some of your stuff (I'm going home in a minute-I'll read some more later) and your writing reminds me of a poet called Stevie Smith, if you haven't you sohould check her work out. I like how feminine and melancholic your writing is.

That made me think about the rainforests being destroyed, and how we're just killing stuff off. I had a great mental picture of what was going on, and now I can't help but wonder about what's going on down there. Thanks.
 That might not have been your intention, but that's what I got. A good poem, nice job.

Beautiful and melancholy. I'm more prone to interpret this figuratively (as someone clinging on to a dead relationship, etc.) so whether that was your intention or not, I still really enjoyed it! Description and word choice are great, but I do have one minor picky detail.

Thought provoking- can be taken either literal or figuratively and leaves it somewhat open for the reader to interpret how they read it and what they see in their mind. I enjoyed reading this!
