Life
Life
Is something simple Straight-forward and austere There are but two ways to see it Both bring joy through different lanes One wonders which one you'll choose Seeing that the choice is often hard So come now I to advise Please take the righteous path The weakest man may falter The strongest may tumble But the one in the middle What is he? Strong, or never real The stumbling block may fix itself The solid rock may crack But in the end who lives the death Of taking the path to die The noisiest crow may be silent The quietest feather may speak Who knows what will happen at the end of days Life, or just despair It all boils down to the path we take Whether it be righteous or wrong But whatever it is, come back in time, And restore your vitality true. |
