A couple of suggestions, try making the lines more even with each other. And I really think this would be powerful if you broke it up into stanzas, cutting it at the repetition of "I guess I told you that". Which I love, leading to the, "see, I tell you everything". I really think with a few changes this could be a really awesome piece.
