Catatonia lives haunt the pharm

The cattle waits in an anxious line

They smile pharmaceutically wide

Their eyes are open but drugged over


The clock in my head has started again

I ran out of feed at a quarter to ten

I curse these hands of mine

Please, pass me the pills for candy time.

This was different but I especially liked the picture. I went along the piece very well i think. Good job.

I really liked the thid line about the eyes fogged over and the one about killing me while i'm living.

Love! Definitely captured that dreamy, trippy feeling I would expect with a prompt like 'hallucination', but you still gave it your own twist. Great artwork, and great entry.

Ha! That was pretty interesting, Peppy. The art work fits perfectly well with the words, did you draw it especially for this prompt? Or did you have it floating around? The poem was one of those that I'll need to come back to to gain a handle on. Or maybe the reader just isn't supposed get a handle on it, which would make perfect sense. Nice work.

Elohel, I was waiting for someone to ask me about the picture. Yes, I made it just for this prompt. I felt like drawing something. I wanted to do it for the 55 for a long time, didn't really get inspired to draw though. Yeah.

But I guess I went over 55 words since a picture is worth a thousand. (Man my jokes are lame.)
